Going Vertical: A Visual Construction Tour

Construction cranes are hard at work all across Midtown, with 17 towers coming out of the ground and rising. Today, we've taken a quick tour through Midtown to highlight some of the progress on selected projects.

The NCR HQ project, led by Cousins, has topped out and is now getting its glass facade.

Another view from Spring Street shows it in context, across from an apartment project also construction, Modera by Mill Creek - Midtown, and the recently delivered student housing project University House Midtown.

"Our team is making substantial progress on the Spring@8th NCR HQ project, with significant exterior and interior work happening now on the entire project," said Thad Ellis, Senior Vice President at Cousins and the Managing Director of the Atlanta office. The contours of the buildings that make up both phases of the project are more recognizable with each passing month. It's exciting to see this headquarters location take shape in the middle of Midtown's innovation neighborhood."

Down the street from NCR is Georgia Tech and Portman Holdings' economic powerhouse project, Coda.

At first glance, it looks like a big hole in the ground. But at second glance, all the excavation work is to prep the site for a fully buried 600-space parking deck.

JPX Works' lilli Midtown, a skinny infill project at Peachtree and 3rd, is adding floors as we speak. This project has no parking, and rather is tapping in to the Georgian Terrace's existing parking for those who need it.

A view from the other side shows how nicely it fills in a formerly dead space on Peachtree Street.

Look for more updates here as construction in Midtown continues.
