Ride Transit into Midtown

Take MARTA

For commute relief from the I-85 roadway closure, MARTA's rail service is your best bet for travel into Midtown Atlanta. Bus routes 6, 27, 30 and 33 are continuing to have major delays due to traffic in the Lindbergh area. Check ItsMARTA.com for service updates.

Breeze Cards can be purchased for immediate use at MARTA stations throughout the region via Breeze Vending Machines and the MARTA RideStores. The card costs $2 plus the purchase of a fare, which can be purchased by trips or by the number of days. Breeze Cards are also available for purchase online at BreezeCard.com, with mail delivery taking approximately one week.

Midtown Transportation, a program of Midtown Alliance, also works with employers to provide access to MARTA passes at a 20% discount. Contact Midtown Transportation for more information.

Xpress, CCT & GCT Bus Routes

The I-85 roadway closure has caused significant service impacts for the GRTA Xpress buses. Specifically, routes 411, 412, 413, 414, and 416 will travel an alternate route along I-285 and I-20 to and from Atlanta. Downtown and Midtown stops will be served but customers should expect delays. Routes 400 and 401 will only pick-up customers at the North Springs MARTA station. Route 410 will only serve the Doraville MARTA station. Xpress will run additional coaches to the Hamilton Mill and Sugarloaf Mills Park-and-Rides directly from the Doraville MARTA station. Check the Xpressga.com website for current and future service alerts as you plan your travel.

Gwinnett County Transit service into and out of Midtown is being re-routed along I-20 and I-285. View service alerts here.

Cobb Community Transit (CobbLinc) routes remain as-is between Cobb County and Midtown on I-75.
