Bike Month 2020

May is National Bike Month, so dust off your two wheels, schedule a tune-up and go for a spin!

Whether you're a new rider or an ATL cycling pro, we encourage you to take advantage of less cars on the road, grow your confidence, and maybe even test out your route to the office. Who knows- maybe a bike commute is in your future! Here's ways you can celebrate National Bike Month all month long:

Use Love To Ride to set a biking goal for yourself and track your progress.

Take a free virtual "bike class" hosted by Atlanta Bicycle Coalition to gain skills to safely cycle on Atlanta's roads (for you and your kids)

Test out one of Atlanta Cycling Festival's bike routes, (with stops for public art and tasty take-out along the way).

Georgia Bikes has a wide array of virtual events for bike-enthusiasts, from virtual rides to informative webinars on transportation policy.

We've compiled some tips on how to ride safely at this time.

Here is a map of Midtown Bike Routes and Atlanta Bike Routes.

If you need bicycle repair, Aztec Cycles and Velofix are mobile companies that can come to you for a tune-up. Alternatively, check out one of many local bike shops--many offer no-contact bike repair.
