The Atlanta Children’s Day Shelter will host its annual Holiday House December 7–11, 2026. Holiday House is a holiday marketplace that brings together community partners, volunteers, and supporters to make the holiday season brighter for families experiencing homelessness and financial hardship throughout Metro Atlanta.
Through Holiday House, parents can select toys and gifts for their children at no cost, giving them the joy and dignity of choosing special gifts for their families while easing the financial burden of the holiday season. Community partners help make the event possible through toy and gift donations, financial sponsorships, meal support, and volunteer service.
In 2025, Holiday House served 379 families and provided gifts for 1,288 children, with more than 300 volunteers helping throughout the event. Volunteers supported toy collection and sorting, gift wrapping, meal service, setup and breakdown, and served as personal shoppers for participating families.
There are many ways to be part of Holiday House 2026, including volunteering, hosting a toy drive, providing in-kind support, and becoming a financial sponsor. We would be thrilled to have the Midtown community join us in making the holidays brighter for families experiencing homelessness.
