Learn basic latch-hook techniques using reclaimed coffee sacks and recycled yarn in this hands-on workshop co-led by artist Amanda Banks. While you work, she'll share what she's uncovered about her family's roots in the coffee industry and invite a broader conversation about the systems design makes visible and invisible. Saudade Toxosi joins the session with a guided coffee tasting, exploring how geography, tradition, and process shape what ends up in your cup. You'll leave with a finished or in-progress fiber piece, and a different way of thinking about something you encounter every day.
