Join us for a fun fun community paint day with HOTA resident artist 25-26, Aysha Pennerman, creating the inspiring Hope Beneath the Wings!

What gives you hope?

Join us in Midtown for a special a Community Paint Day, contributing to Hope Beneath the Wings, a collaborative mural by artist Aysha Pennerman.

Blending sculptural and illustrated doves, written prompts, and layered movement, this evolving artwork invites the community into a shared meditation on hope. Through collective participation, the mural transforms individual reflections into a unified expression of possibility.

Whether you come to paint, reflect, or simply witness the process, your presence is part of the work.

All Saints' Courtyard

Free and open to the community. 

Dress comfortably and wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on!

We suggest taking MARTA and getting off at North Avenue MARTA Station.

The mural location is on the corner of Spring Street and Ponce de Leon Avenue.

Midtown Heart of the Arts

The artist's open studios are gifted for eighteen months and made possible by a partnership between Emory University, All Saints Episcopal Church, and Midtown Alliance.

By creating space and opportunities for artists to work in Midtown, the Heart of the Arts Residency Program generates publicly accessible artwork and arts experiences for the whole community.
