Details
Midtown Alliance is collaborating with the City of Atlanta Dept. of Transportation to host an informal ceremony and media event now that the Juniper Street corridor upgrades are completed. Free to attend!
The event will take place at the corner of Juniper and 8th Streets in the Wells Fargo parking lot.
Hear brief remarks from City of Atlanta and Midtown Alliance leadership about the city's Vision Zero policy for transportation safety and how the changes on the Juniper Street corridor are creating safer conditions for everyone.
Enjoy coffee and refreshments from our friends at Schāf Shop.
Then, take part in an optional celebratory group bike ride down the new protected bike lane for a photo opp (1-2 blocks). Must bring your own bike and helmet.
The venue is located just a few blocks east of the Midtown MARTA station. Self-paid parking is available in the 930 Juniper Street parking deck, accessible from Peachtree Place, and in available on-street parking spaces. And of course we encourage everyone who’s interested to ride your bike to the event!
