Please join your community for a dedication of a forever memorial bench in remembrance of the lives of Katie Janness and her dog, Bowie, this Thursday, July 28th, at 6:30 p.m. The bench dedication will take place within the large dog off-leash dog park in Piedmont Park on the one-year anniversary of Katie and Bowie's murders.
Katie Janness and her dog Bowie were killed inside Piedmont Park on July 28, 2022. The case remains unsolved.
This is a peaceful, family-friendly gathering, and your simple stopping by will mean a lot to Katie's family and friends.
