On Sept. 20 from 5 to 6:30 p.m., spice up the season with tequila’s smoking hot cousin during Epicurean Theatre’s “Mezcal Tasting.” Presenter Lou Bank – known for bringing Pokémon to the masses, Star Wars to the cereal aisle, and Morimoto to the beer world, as well as for founding the not-for-profit SACRED to support rural Mexican communities where heritage agave spirits are made – will guide guests through a tasting that spotlights a different region of Mexico with each pour. The evening includes a mezcal welcome cocktail, a tasting of five heritage agave spirits, and Mexican light bites. Tickets are $50 per person and available online.*
*A portion of proceeds from all September theatre events will benefit Giving Kitchen’s Dining with Gratitude campaign to help raise crucial funds for food service workers in crisis.
