Flock with us for an annual community tradition. August 5 marks the return of Midtown's annual lantern parade.

Elegantly weird, Parliament of Owls is a black and white owl-themed community lantern parade featuring a Second Line Band and parade-goers marching down Peachtree Street at night. Everyone is invited to make an owl lantern and walk in the parade! Parade attire is black and white.

Get details on lantern-making workshops, plus free downloads to make your own owl lantern at home, parade route info and much more at MidtownATL.com/Owls.

This event is just one example of how Midtown Alliance is working with arts and commercial partners to bring people together outside, in public spaces, to build community. The lantern parade is free to attend, and all are welcome.

Owls flock in the Plaza at Colony Square at 8:30pm. The Parade steps off at 8:50pm with the Black Sheep Ensemble leading the way. Midtown Arts MARTA Station is one block away.
