On August 5, Silhouette Midtown will host a special event highlighting Georgia talent and innovation in our local Atlanta startup culture. Join us from 10 AM -12 PM for a moderated panel discussion and catered networking reception as we celebrate the innovation and creativity that continue to raise Atlanta's profile as a go-to destination for technology.

Bringing together a diverse group of founders from across Georgia Tech's current CREATE-X Launch Startup incubator cohort, the panel will highlight the skills, creativity, and tech savvy emerging from Georgia today.

The panel will feature founders from:

Teclaz, an AI analytics platform that delivers instant clarity on visitor behavior without the complexity and cost of traditional analytics, helping to empower small businesses to turn website traffic into revenue.

Dossi, an insulin pump controller designed to reduce the real-world errors and decision burden that cause automated insulin delivery systems to fall short of their clinical potential.

SENTIA Instruments, a music technology company developing tactile musical interfaces built on proprietary haptic technology and accessibility-first design principles that make digital creativity more intuitive, expressive, and accessible.

Penny Wars, a fundraising platform that helps nonprofits increase participation through fun, community-based giving competitions.

Press Box Toolkit, an all-in-one platform for the people who run a high school press box that brings rosters, music, sponsors, and game information together in one place, then builds the game-day run of show so the announcements, music, and sponsor reads all happen on cue.

The event will be moderated by Janel Urena, Co-Founder of Teclaz, who brings a wealth of hands-on technology startup experience building field, channel, and growth marketing functions at Redis, Elastic, Zscaler, Riverbed, Leapwork, and BroadVision. She holds a JD from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law, and a BA in Anthropology from Stanford University.

Press Box Toolkit: https://www.pressboxtoolkit.com/

Press Box Toolkit is an all-in-one platform for the people who run a high school press box: PA announcers, DJs, and volunteer crews. It brings rosters, music, sponsors, and game information together in one place, then builds the game-day run of show so the announcements, music, and sponsor reads all happen on cue. In short, it replaces a game-day producer. Built to work offline when press-box WiFi is unreliable, it helps every game run smoothly and preserves the institutional knowledge that high school programs lose each year when volunteers move on. More than 40 announcers already use Press Box Toolkit, and two first pilot schools are launching this fall. Press Box Toolkit is changing the game.

Bio: Greg Gibbs is the founder of Press Box Toolkit. A former high school PA announcer, he spent 30 years in software across startups, SAP, and Microsoft before turning his attention to the press box. Greg holds an MBA from Georgia Tech, where Press Box Toolkit began as a capstone project idea and is now part of the CREATE-X Startup Launch program. He built the product based on his own experience inside the booth, pairing a technologist's skill set with an announcer's feel for game day. Greg lives in Marietta, Georgia.
