Wednesday, June 19th, NBAF celebrates Black Punk, Rock, and Alternative R&B music with SOULREBELROCK concert experience!

The history of black alternative music is a dynamic journey that challenges traditional narratives of these genres as predominantly white spaces. People of African descent have created, rebelled, and influenced these different scenes from their inception. They are extensions of our call for collective freedom, and our history of living outside of mainstream rules and expectations.

SOULREBELROCK celebrates the African American contributions to the genre while showcasing the contemporary talent pushing the genre forward via:

- Visual exhibitions showcasing the genre’s history, icons, and movements
- Band merch and music for sale
- Live performances by local and national artists are elevating the art form
