The Thriving Together Atlanta Mobile Art Experience, presented by the National Black Arts Festival and curated by NEXT in partnership with MARTA Artbound and the City of Atlanta, takes place Saturday, February 7, from 12–3 PM at Oakland City Station.

This free, public, family-friendly activation brings art, wellness, and community voice into everyday public space—open to everyone, whether you’re riding MARTA or just coming out for the experience. The afternoon features See Our Voice, a community-centered exhibit presented both inside the Mobile Art Bus and throughout the station, showcasing stories and photography shared by community members.

Visitors are also invited to take part in an interactive mural led by the Moma Murrell Collective, helping to paint a collective image focused on wellness and care. Additional elements include guided meditation sessions, BLK HLTH’s Thread Your Health interactive activity, music, light prizes, and refreshments provided by Portrait Coffee.

Designed for rolling participation. Free and open to all.
