After a year of isolation, we’re beginning to see more people return to Midtown. The wider availability of the COVID-19 vaccine has some workplaces planning their employees’ return to the office in the coming weeks and months, and spring temperatures are bringing more people out of their homes to explore the district on foot.

Our Midtown Green team has worked throughout the pandemic, implementing additional sanitizing and disinfecting measures on top of normal duties to keep people in the district safe. It’s imperative to have a full maintenance and operations staff as daytime workers and visitors begin to make their return, so we’ve added four new members to our Green team over the past few months.

Read more about each new Midtown Green member by clicking on their bios below:

Midtown Green is on the job seven days a week, in all seasons and conditions. Their work includes trash and debris removal, mowing, pruning and other landscaping work; scrubbing away graffiti and street cleaning; and helping to maintain the district’s holiday lighting displays. See the impact of their work in our 2020 progress report. And watch the video below to learn more.
