Untangling Homelessness in Midtown

Editor's Note: These stories are part of an ongoing series to provide readers with context for one of the City's most challenging issues. Midtown Alliance adds new stories over time that spotlight people, partnerships and progress to address homelessness.

Midtown Atlanta is known as one of the city’s most thriving areas, but if you’ve spent any time in the district, you’ve likely come across someone experiencing homelessness. In Atlanta, the work to combat homelessness is spread across many different groups, including the faith community, business leaders, nonprofits, public safety and the City of Atlanta. We spoke with several experts on the ground working to solve this citywide issue to find out what they're doing, how it's going and what's next.
