Atlanta Streets Alive 2025

Join the city's signature recurring Open Street event, Atlanta Streets Alive, presented by ATLDOT with support by Propel ATL & the Atlanta community. 2-6pm select Sundays throughout the year. The next ASA is Sunday, October 26 from 2pm-6pm from West End to Grant Park!

Walk Challenge 2025

Midtown's two-week walking promotion designed to get Midtown out on the street and learning about their district through app-based missions. “Scavenger hunt” style promotion where the prizes and treasures are actually Midtown’s public assets: art, plazas, murals, parks, our beautiful skyline, and fun facts about different destinations you wouldn’t know from just strolling by.

Biketober 2024

MT helped teams in Midtown earn points, share stories, and encourage others to ride during the month-long celebration of cycling in Atlanta. Across metro Atlanta, 2,726 participants (including 242 new riders) collectively logged 348,585 miles across 36,966 bike trips.

Walk Challenge 2024

Imagine a scavenger hunt packed with interactive, real-world, and virtual challenges we had Midtown getting active with participants among employees, residents, and visitors all completing missions by walking around Midtown.

In addition to facilitating the challenge, MT also hosted a bike-in happy-hour and bike-in movie to get folks rolling.

Bike Classes in 2023

MT hosted 6 bicycle maintenance classes in 2023, all free and open to the public!

Park(ing) Day 2023

MT joined partner organizations at Georgia Tech to celebrate Park(ing) Day, an annual global event where citizens temporarily transform and activate parking spaces to call attention to the need for more urban public space.

Bike Commuter Breakfast 2023

To celebrate Bike to Work Week, MT set up a free commuter breakfast at the Charles Allen Drive entrance to Piedmont Park.
