2026 Ansley Park Tour of Homes: An Arts-Filled Legacy

Established in 1904 when Edwin Ansley envisioned an intown neighborhood with a suburban feel, Ansley Park endures as a refined Midtown oasis. A place where winding streets, storied residences, and lush landscapes converge just moments from the renowned Woodruff Arts Center and the city's premier cultural institutions.
The organizers for this year's Tour of Homes are putting together a weekend in early-October filled with stellar events, beautiful homes and exciting new stops and activities for tour-goers. Here's a preview of what attendees can see and do.
October 2: Enjoy a Glamourous Evening at the Sponsors Preview Party
The Preview Party is a black-tie suggested, red carpet event at the Goizueta Stage for Youth and Families inside the Woodruff Arts Center. This exceptional evening opens with cocktails and a celebration of the extraordinary women who shaped Ansley Park and Atlanta. From Hattie High, the driving force behind the High Museum, to Dorothy Alexander, founder of the Atlanta Ballet, to Leila Ross Wilburn, the architect who shaped the homes of thousands of Atlantans, these women will come to life onstage in an exclusive presentation from Alliance Theatre actors accompanied by an original film. The multimedia film was produced under the creative leadership of the Ansley Park Civic Association's talented Tour Committee with support from SCAD interns and a local filmmaker and Ansley neighbor who helped bring the vision to life. October 3 + 4: See Inside Eight Gorgeous Homes throughout Ansley Park
From the first home ever built in Ansley Park to a modern condo across from The High, the eight exceptional Ansley Park homes featured on this year’s tour showcase the character and evolution of Ansley Park living. Showcasing a variety of styles and time periods, this year's homes offer inspiring design, exceptional workmanship, and the variety that makes Ansley Park so exceptional. Tickets on sale now.
October 3 + 4 (Select Showtimes): Alliance Theatre Actors Bring Ansley Park History to Life in the Premium Experience
In partnership with the Alliance Theatre, the Premium Experience will bring Ansley Park's history to life through 20-minute historical reenactments from professional actors spotlighting notable figures from the neighborhood's past. Taking place inside the “speakeasy” at one of Ansley Park's oldest and most distinctive homes, this engaging activity also features specialty cocktails from tour sponsor Tower Beer, Wine and Spirits. October 3 + 4: Other Midtown Neighbors Open their Doors for Tour of Homes Visitors
In addition to eight spectacular Ansley Park homes to visit, this year’s Tour also features four additional neighborhood sites for tour-goers to visit and learn more about the neighbors that make Ansley Park so special:
- As part of the collaboration with the Woodruff Arts Center, tour-goers will enjoy an exclusive behind the scenes experience at the Alliance Theatre from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday, including a look at the new PNC Play Space, event spaces, sensory areas, and the opportunity to watch the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in rehearsal.
- In another aspect of the Tour's growing community partnerships, tour-goers are invited to explore the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA), which will be open to ticketholders free of charge on both Saturday and Sunday from 12:00–7:00 PM. With a mission rooted in creativity, community, and transformation, MODA is a natural and inspired addition to a weekend celebrating the best of Atlanta's design and architecture.
- Tour-goers are also invited to visit the First Church of Christ, Scientist for a special open house from 12:30–3:30 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. Designed in a neoclassical Greek Revival style, this architectural gem was built 1914 in the heart of Ansley Park. This Tour stop offers a rare glimpse inside one of the neighborhood's most beloved and storied landmarks.
- Situated near Ansley Golf Club, The Villa, an Italian neoclassical landmark, was designed by Philip Trammell Shutze, the Rome Prize–winning architect behind some of Atlanta's most celebrated estates, including the HM Patterson Mortuary in Midtown and the Palmer-Phelan condominiums. Widely regarded as the city's foremost neoclassicist, Shutze brought his signature European sensibility to this storied property. For this year's tour, The Villa opens its lobby to visitors, offering a rare look at the architectural detail and craftsmanship that have made it one of Atlanta's most enduring buildings.
