Midtown to Host 44th Annual Georgia Veterans Day Parade Saturday, November 8
10/30/2025

The 44th annual Georgia Veterans Day Parade returns to the streets of Midtown to celebrate our nation’s veterans and military families on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The parade route will wind down iconic Peachtree Street from 15th to 5th Street. The parade's Grand Marshal will be Commissioner Patricia Ross, Colonel, U.S. Air Force (Retired), Georgia Department of Veterans Service.
In addition to the parade, the nonprofit Georgia Veterans Day Association (GVDA) will host a range of family friendly daytime activities and the annual Observance Ceremony at 10am inside the Woodruff Arts Center, with remarks provided by military and community leaders.
2025 Theme: Honoring Women in Uniform
The theme for the 2025 parade and events, "Honoring Women in Uniform," honors the contributions of women who have honorably served in our military and seeks to inspire the next generation. Since the birth of our nation, women have supported or served as members of our military forces during peace and in war. Today, women are proudly serving in almost every job available across the six branches of our uniformed services. From their early service as nurses providing needed care to dynamic infantry leaders on today’s battlefields, women have been vital to the success of the United States military.
"We are excited to present our annual events to honor our Veterans and their families, and I call upon everyone to join us,” announced Kevin L. Miller, President & Chairman of the GVDA. “By hosting our daytime activities in Midtown Atlanta, attendees will have access to some of the best shops and restaurants in the city to enjoy before or after our events. Midtown Atlanta is the ideal location to host the Georgia Veterans Day Parade, and this wonderful community looks forward to welcoming you as we honor our Veterans. Mark your calendars now and plan to spend your day with us November 8, 2025."
