Danish conductor Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider is both a gifted violinist and conductor. Currently in his first season as Music Director of the Orchestre National de Lyon, he has led many of the world's leading orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony and Cleveland Orchestra. Hear this brilliant artist conduct two of the most popular works in the concert hall: Grieg's thundering Piano Concerto with the young Nazarene pianist Saleem Ashkar and Tchaikovsky's heartrending Pathétique Symphony.

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will be implementing a mandatory vaccine policy for audiences. Beginning September 1, 2021, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to performance, as well as matching photo ID, will be required upon arrival at Atlanta Symphony Hall.
