Did you know World Cleanup Day is September 19? Celebrate with Oceana, Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, Ogeechee Riverkeeper, and Susie King Taylor's Women's Institute and Ecology Center on Saturday, September, 19 for a Solo Cleanup and Virtual “Field Notes” Discussion!

Any time before 4:00pm (EST) on September 19, go to your favorite local spot and conduct a trash cleanup. Afterwards, at 4:00pm (EST) tune in over Zoom for a “Field Notes” discussion to reflect on your field observations, findings, and feelings during the cleanup with the community.

Hear from professor, artist, and founder of the Drifter’s Project, Pam Longobardi as she reflects on her cleanup experiences all over the world and takes us through a plastic forensics workshop to get us thinking about the items we found on our own cleanups.
