Since 2001, Midtown Alliance has added over 700 trees to streetscapes throughout the Midtown Core, expanding our canopy to over 2,000 street trees. Each sits in a tree well that offers commercial tenants and property owners an opportunity to enhance the quality of the public realm while adding a splash of individual character. The tree well adoption program forms an integral part of the Midtown EcoDistrict sustainability strategy by the use of low-water, urban tolerant plant species.
You can easily participate in this community program by simply identifying which tree wells you would like to adopt and maintain within the Midtown district. We offer you resources and guidelines for planting and nurturing, and will also recognize your efforts with a customized plaque as well as promotion in our monthly e-newsletter and on our social media.
Going “green” has never been easier—and never looked this good.
