Biking can be a fun, practical and active way to get to work. Join Midtown Alliance as we celebrate National Bike to Work Week, May 13th through the 17th. There are lots of ways you can experience the joys and celebrations of bike commuting throughout the week!

Midtown Bike Train

May 17th @ 7:30AM

Calling all Midtown bike commuters and friends! Join Midtown Transportation and the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition on a bike train from the Eastside Beltline to 14th and West Peachtree. Check out the full route here and plan to hop on and off as needed for your commute!

Energizer Stations & Finish Line

Swing by on your bike and fuel up at Midtown
Transportation’s various energizer stations throughout the district and mark the end of Bike to Work Week with a pass through Midtown Transportation’s celebratory finish line on 10th St.! Thanks to sponsor CLIFF.
WHEN: Friday, May 17 at 7:30-9:30 a.m.
WHERE: The Ponce City Market Shed, the top of the 10th St. Cycle Track (where the Midtown Finish Line will be located), and on 5th St. in Tech Square

 


Other Ways to Celebrate & Ride!

Earl’s Easy Riser Commuter Ride: Tuesday, May 14. Meet at Earl’s Bike Shop at 8 a.m. for coffee and a beginner’s ride.

5th Annual Queer Ride: Wednesday, May 15. Meet at the Georgia Beer Garden at 7 p.m. for an easy 6-8 mile ride.

Mobile Social: Thursday, May 16. Meet at Woodruff Park at 7 p.m. for an easy and social ride throughout the city.

6th Annual Donut Ride: Friday, May 17. Meet at Revolution Donuts in Decatur at 9 a.m. Moderate 16 mile ride with 3 donut stops.
